How to rewrite plr articles
October 19, 2008
When you get to breaking point and have no more original ideas in your head then you will start using plr articles as your basis for creating more online content. There are many suppliers of plr article packages that range from the excellent to the plain dreadful. I have a number of plr sources that I have found over the years. Once you have your plr content to hand then you need to look at how to use and rewrite plr articles content to get the best result for your purchase.
You must in the first place acknowledge that these plr articles are cheap and not ready to go. they need some work. It is worth taking this as a given and do not let it bother you. I recently bought 120 articles in the credit card niche for $10. I am satisfied if 50% are useable for me. I do not feel I have wasted my money. I always find that some of the supplied articles will not suit me. I also know that some will not be good enough for me. This is not a problem as long as you acknowledge from the start that you are buying into a package that will only have about 50% of useful articles.
The second point is to make sure you have your own set of keywords ready. I never use the ones supplied because they are sometimes out of date. I usually prepare a good set of keywords before starting my writing so that it stays focussed and on topic.
Finally you need to know that you must rewrite these articles. Do not submit them without changing them by a minimum of 25%. I always change mine by at least 50%. If your article is not original enough it will be ignored by search engines as duplicate content.
To know how to use and rewrite plr articles content you can get a free tutorial on article writing by going to the mega article website. This website is for new article writers who are learning the whole process of how to write an article that gets read and gets the click through.
eBay Coupons Codes - Where to Get Them.
October 13, 2008
How to Get eBay Coupons.
Coupons from eBay sent by email are a rare site indeed, and only a few will ever get them. However, if you are lucky enough to get one, then you can use it towards items you purchase on eBay, with the qualifying condition that you use PayPal and they you are in Canada, UK or the United States.
There are two ways to get eBay coupons.
One - you can just wait for an email.
But you will probably be waiting a long time for this to happen. You have to do something to make yourself look like the kind of person eBay would want to tempt back with a coupon. After you open a new account, you can buy a few things and then don’t purchase anything else for awhile, then the chances are you might get a coupon of some kind.
Search for them, too.
The better way, of course, is to go and find the coupons that are out there on the web. However, this can be a rather hit-and-miss tactic, it is certainly worth trying and if you find one with real coding, then chances are it will spread out everywhere fast. You can type in: ’eBay coupons’ or ’eBay coupon codes’ in your favorite search engine and see what you can find that way. You might find you have better luck if you use a more obscure search engine, where people haven’t taken the trouble to get the results.
However, if you do not want to use a search engine, then you can also search out and community forums you visit to see is someone has posted one. People that use eBay’s own forum at: http://hub.ebay.com/community; will usually have the best chance of getting one. Chatting with regulars in this forum can be fun and insightful as well, and it’s an easy way to find out about special offers.
Redeeming Coupons, Which Way is Best?
A valid coupon basically will have a rather long bar code on it. All you need to do, is pay with PayPal as usual for the item you want and use the coupon towards it. Once in PayPal, you will notice in the webpage header a tab that you can use for: Coupons, Gift Certificates and eBay Anything Points. Select that field and type in the coupon code, if the code is really long you can use the copy and paste function to make sure you don’t miss a number. Then click on ’Redeem’ and your all set!
Don’t worry about causing problems for sellers by doing this, as eBay just pays them for the item as usual. eBay’s uses coupons as a marketing tacit to attract more customers to using them, which will likely increase the amount of auction bids on items.
Since you’re interested in making your eBay shopping more affordable, you might be interested to know that you can now buy eBay items on credit. eBay auction shopping is both exciting and fun, and now customers can use anything from coupons to credit to make it an even better experience.
How to Go About Building a Blog
October 13, 2008
What You Need to Create a Blog
If you are like many others interested in starting their own blog, you may want to know how to go about doing it successfully. The answer is nothing, provided that your only goal is to spend no money at all. Now, if you want higher returns and if you have the money to spend, the answer to “what you need to get started” might be several hundred dollars, in order to invest in tools that could make your climb to the top faster and smoother.
One of the most important things you will need to get started is some form of keyword research tool or database. On the market today you can find a large selection of these types of products, ranging in price from zero dollars up to $500. One of the most popular available today is ’WordTracker’, they offer a free limited trial version or you can pay by the day at $7.50 or by the month, costing around $45. Using a blog keyword research tool will allow you to find out which words are the most commonly used and have a cumulative profit rating associated with them.
Other than a key phrase tool, the answers to the, “what you need to get started” question, will usually depend on the project.
For instance, if you’re hosting a blog and you want to monetize it with Adsense, you may want to add a thumbnail generator to your, “what you need to get started” list.
A thumbnail generator will work to create codes that will help increase the click-thru rate in your blog by using related, scraped-thumbnails pictures and searches on Google images and place them next to your contextual ads.
However, if you will be marketing your own product, then you will need to add an auto responder to your, “what you need to get started” list.
You can increase your conversion rate immensely by using an auto responder, because it will allow you to save time by not having to personally follow-up on each email, or only relying on your sales page.
Before you go out and spend a large amount of money, you should check out the tools offered on the internet that can help you get started. Then later you will be able to determine if you want to purchase any software products to further your blog business and increase your profits. So basically you have a few choices, you can create a profitable blog without paying a cent, but if you want to take advantage of automating tools to further improve your profitability and efficiency, you will have to purchase at least a few tools.
Facts on eBay for Buyers.

Facts on eBay for Buyers.
Has something gone very wrong and you don’t know what to do?
Here are the questions that I hear all the time from buyers.
1. Is there an Customer Service number I can use to call for help?
eBay are notoriously hard to contact, should you ever need to; then it sometimes seems like they expect the site to run itself. The best way to get customer support would be to use online help, and to do this you need to use this url address: http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_us/_base/index.html. Or you could try their “live help” web chat too and you can find it here: http://pages.ebay.com/help/basics/n-livehelp.html.
They have it set up, that only sellers with the best feedback rating can call directly to eBay customer service. However, you might be able to go about it in a different way, for instance, you could type in; ’eBay (add your country) phone number’; into a search engine and see what you can find that way. Unfortunately, the chances are you’ll have gone to all that trouble for the privilege of leaving a phone message on an answering machine.
This can be frustrating, but if you look at it from eBay’s point of view; they would get thousands of rhetorical phone calls, and that is probably why getting eBay assistance by phone is challenging.
2. What should I do when eBay sent me an email saying they are going to close my account?
If this happens to you, then you must first look to see if the email is asking for your password. If that pops up in your email, then it’s a scam, only intended to get your information and steal your account. One of the policies of eBay is that they NEVER ask for your password or account information through an email. eBay’s policy is that you should only ever enter your password on pages whose addresses start with http://signin.ebay.com/. They have made a vast amount of information available online, where you can find out about; Privacy Policies, Security and Terms and Conditions, etc. To read more go to: http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/toolbar/useragreement.html
However, on September 23, 2008 eBay discontinued the ’Account Guard’ functionality that was once a toolbar option. 3. How Does eBay Auctions Make Money?
It is absolutely free for buyers! Sellers, though, pay all sorts of fees: a listing fee for each item they list, a final value fee (a percentage of what the item sold for). Of course, there are additional services offered, but they too have a fee associated with them; for example: highlighting the auction items or putting it in bold; using extra pictures or putting your item on the front page, etc. You can find a detailed listing of these fees at: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fees.html.
These fees are apparently not a hindrance to the sellers, because more and more, people continue to use eBay . What makes eBay work so well for so many, is that both eBay and the seller have to ensure the profit margin is not too outlandish, because if prices begin to get ridiculous the buyers will not want to use the system.
4. Is eBay a safe way to market and purchase product?
eBay has a Trust & Safety (SafeHarbor) Answer Center, where members can ask questions about Trust & Safety initiatives and use the member-to-member question & answer boards. Once on the ’Safe Harbor’ page, you will find information on, hijacked accounts, online safety and how to scam proof your emails, the direct link to this is: http://answercenter.ebay.com/forum. You will be able to get your questions answered on the eBay site links mentioned in this article, and no doubt you will learn a lot of information to make your time on eBay all the more successful.
7 Strategies to a Professional Image
October 13, 2008
Whether you are doing business online or offline, selling products or selling services, it is very important that you appear professional and knowledgeable. Your customers will only do business with you and refer business to you if they trust you and consider you an expert in your field. You wouldn’t do business with someone who was “shady” or untrustworthy – or even just appeared that way, so why would you expect any less from your customers?
There are steps you can take to polish up your professional image, showcase your expertise, and give your customers the assurance that you are reputable business person, someone they can trust to deliver what you promise. It doesn’t have to be expensive or take a lot of time – there are simple solutions, small things that you can tweak to perfect that image. These are 7 simple things that you can try.
-
Be consistent with your marketing material, whether it be your website, brochures, business cards or letterhead. Avoid “mickey-mouse” marketing, such as perforated business cards. You can have business cards printed inexpensively at Staples, or a similar office supply store, that will look completely professional and avoid the I-did-it-myself look. Have your logo on all of your marketing material, choose business colors and have all your material designed with those. You want to create a brand for your business, and keep it consistent throughout all of your business marketing materials.
-
Create valuable content, for your website and your blog. Write about your product or service, and topics related to it. Share your knowledge and passion for your field. Your customers will appreciate the information, and will view you as an expert and professional. Aim for quality, keeping grammar and punctuation correct and consistent, and providing information that is interesting and unique. You have a perspective on your subject that no one else has – take advantage of that!
-
Have a website that encourages visitor interaction. Create your own little domain on the web, filled with your valuable content from point number 2, and use different methods to get your visitors to participate and contribute. Offer a free newsletter, a classy wallpaper or screensaver, a forum for discussions, or other ideas that you think of. Have the site designed by a web design professional, so it is consistent with your brand and all the features are integrated properly. Try to stay away from template designs, as someone else is likely to have the same design, and you want a custom look to match your brand. A shabby website is a good way to destroy your professional image on the internet!
-
Treat your customers in a professional manner. Even when they are wrong or annoying. This does not mean being a pushover. It just means treating them with respect. Write your emails and letters thoughtfully, always keeping in mind that what you write is a reflection of you and your business. Answer your phone in a professional way, and be quick to return phone calls, emails, etc.
-
Take care of your physical appearance. Particularly if you are doing business in person. Dress well, carry yourself with confidence, and smile. Your appearance can go a long way with generating trust with your customer! Carry that confident, professional appearance to your online mediums as well. Make sure any pictures on your website, of you or your staff, look professional.
-
Use a professional email address. For business emails, your email address should be yourname@yourbusiness.com or yourname@yourdomain.com. Avoid having an ISP email (you@telus.net) or a free webmail (you@hotmail.com) at all costs. It is very inexpensive to set up a domain name and email account, and it will go a long way in establishing a professional image for your business!
-
Use an email signature. Include the name of your business, your business phone number, and website address if you have one. You can also include your logo, if you wish. Keep it neat, not too long, and use it on all of your email communications. You may also want to consider letterhead for your emails, with your logo, colors, etc. Remember, you are building your brand. You want customers to see that brand and think of you!
There are, of course, many other things you can do to perfect your professional image. It should be an ongoing process, in fact. Always think about how you would respond as a customer to you and your business. If you wouldn’t do business with you, then you need to take a look at what you are doing and what you need to change. Develop that professional image, and your customers will trust you, respect you, and want to do business with you.
5 Ways To Add New Life To A Seemingly Dead Information Product
October 10, 2008
Let’s assume for the sake of this article that, your eBook has exhausted its marketability. Its digital shelf life has reached the end of the line. Most of the people under its dedicated market have bought one, and no purchases have been registered for a long period of time now.
Should such be taken to indicate that your eBook has ceased being a cash cow and should be put to rest already?
Two words: absolutely not!
Assuming that your eBook has arrived at the end of its shelf cycle, you can still profit from such by employing other tactics and effectuating new strategies. Your information product still got some fight in it, and its just boils down to picking the right avenue for what it can offer.
Here are 5 approaches which you can use to continue to profit from old eBooks:
1. Attach resale rights to your information product. By offering your product with the added incentive in the form of the earning opportunity of being enabled to resell such for profit, you will be tapping into a fresh audience - web businessmen who are constantly looking for goods to sell. Furthermore, by attaching resale rights to your product, you can sell it for at least 4 times more than your standard price.
2. Sell private label rights to your information product. PLR is much like resale rights, but, PLR gives the liberty to change, convert and/or modify the eBook, together with the right to attach the wielder’s name as the creator of the same. Some product creators desire to maintain the content and layout of their eBooks and only attach the more restrictive resale rights. But there are some product originators just want to earn off their products and they provide the grandest rights possible, which is PLR, to command the best price that can be acquired.
3. Chop down your information product and use the separated content for many online marketing goals. For article marketing? Web content? As lessons for your e-course? As messages for your newsletter? Your market-struggling information product can be a great source for such needs.
4. Reformat your eBook and use it as a viral marketing seed. Embed your URL on every page and distribute the same for free. Witness the number of visitors generated to your website grow at an exponential rate.
5. Convert your information product into a physical product and sell such in virtual or offline bookstores. There are many fulfillment services on the World Wide Web that are dedicated to such a goal. My personal preference is lulu.com, simply because they don’t impose a specific number for their allowable minimum order.
Html Editor Software That’s Right For Your Business
October 10, 2008
There are two potential outcomes when you create a website. It can be fun and something that is exciting or it can be something that can create a number of headaches for the inexperienced and new to website creation. Although website design can be quite a hassle, there are often easy solutions among those annoying and trite problems.
A great place to start is to review WYSIWYG website software like, xsitepro bonus page
, as these are easy to use. Saying it another way: everything you see on the screen, and every change you make, will look exactly that way when the web site is uploaded. You have several choices when it comes to website builders.
A popular type of website builder allows you create your pages and then upload them. Or you can work on the pages, save them and then publish them later. Non-web-based programs can also accomplish this task. This type of software makes building a website pretty easy as you don’t need to know HTML code to build your site. For beginners this is probably the best option.
These programs use templates to provide the basis of the website and all you do is add the content. Working from a template removes much of the tedium from creating a website by providing the perfect layout. This can reduce the time of creating a website.
A few points must be kept in mind when different templates are considered. Would you remain on the website? Does it look professional? Do you like the way the patterns and colors blend. If you answer no then it is not a template for your website.
After you have chosen the template, it is time to choose the colors if that is an option you have available. It would be advantageous to become familiar with a fair amount of code so that you are able to alter the colors on the background and text. They’re pretty simple to find and update.
Content is the next thing to consider. You will need decent content for your website. The most important thing is to ensure that you can provide valuable content for your target audience in a way that conveys your personal and corporate identity.
To determine the type of website or content you will use, search the internet for similar websites and ideas. This will assist you in figuring out the best choice for you, out of all that is out there and on the internet. At the very least it will give you a number of ideas.
Designing professional Web sites isn’t difficult and can, in fact, be rewarding in terms of your time and revenue. The first step to a great looking website is to employ a quaility website builder, step two would be spending time to learn the software inside and out.

Top Paying Adsense Keywords versus Good Paying Adsense Keywords

Many website adsense publishers search high and low for a list of high paying keywords. You will find these questions in forums all the time. This is because adsense publishers know that the success to High Adsense income are based on Three Key factors
1. Traffic - The higher page impressions, the more likely you will receive clicks on your ads.
2. Click Through Rate (CTR) - The higher the click through rate, the more clicks to your website you enjoy.
3. Value of Clicks or High Paying Clicks = Keyword - The higher the value of clicks, the more income you will receive.
Thus the formula is:

Characteristics of your Blog Platform Choices
October 5, 2008
There is no more common question or concern among both novice and veteran bloggers alike: what blogging platform should I choose? Aside from learning how to blog, it’s an almost universal concern.
And there is no definitive answer. All bloggers NEED to own their domain names, but platform choice is largely dependent on the indivudal blogger’s requirements. That said, I’ve compiled a list of disadvantages and advantages of the two main platform choices below.
Hosted Platforms
Hosted platforms refer to services whereby a service provider grants you access to their software, network connection, and hardware, and you register a blogging account to use on that service. With a hosted blog, you have access to an admin panel for your blog, and nothing else.
Popular hosted platforms include solutions like Typepad, LiveJournal, and Blogger.
Advantages of Hosted Platforms
- Economical: most are free; others (like TypePad) are offered with multiple price points
- Easy to setup: just signup for an account and then quickly learn how to create blog posts
- Automatic updates: you don’t have to worry about keeping hosted software patched and updated.
Disadvantages of Hosted Platforms
- Rigid: there are fewer personalization options with hosted platforms.
- Limited design choices: you usually only get to choose from a limited number of mediocre designs, and you often can’t make updates to them
- Generic URL: some hosted platforms don’t offer the option to use your own URL
- Less control: you are at the mercy of the platform
- Migration issues: moving from some free hosted platforms results in a lot of effort and often the temporary loss of search engine rankings
Self-hosted Platforms
Self-hosted platforms consist of your own web hosting account with a data center, and the blogging software you install on the data center’s server. With a self-hosted blog, you have access to an administrative panel for your blog, but you also have access to a server account and the blog software where you can do nigh anything.
Common self-hosted software includes Movable Type, WordPress, and Drupal.
Advantages of Self-hosted Platforms
- Design flexibility: you have complete control over design and layout
- Great software: killer software exists on self-hosted platforms
- Custom URL: custom URL’s are common on self-hosted platforms
- Adaptability: your blog can change as your needs change
- Easy migration: if you ever need to migrate to a different platform or another server, migrating is a snap
Disadvantages of Self-hosted Platforms
- Difficult setup: setup can sometimes be difficult, but this can be overcome with a good blogs how to
- Cost: while the blogging software is free, the hosting platform will cost you money
- Hosting issues: unless you choose a good host, you might have to suffer from down-time or poor support
- Upgrades: you will need to keep your software patched
Most of of my blogs are self-hosted, and it’s what I generally recommend to anyone looking to create a professional blog. There are just too many benefits to pass up, and you usually have the ability to host many domains and blogs on one account, lowering the cost per blog down to a negligible amount.
Tips on article writing and how to use plr content
October 5, 2008
Finding a constant supply of articles to put on your blog or in article directories can be very difficult after your early enthusiasm begins to wane. Most people look out for plr articles packages or free niche articles and look to rewrite them so that they appear different from the originals. But you cannot use them as they are because they will already exist on the internet in their current form. One skill to grasp early on in your writing career is that of quickly rewriting plr articles.
If you are really efficient you can even get paid to write articles on the web but you have to pretty much rewrite the plr material. If I am looking to make money with my articles I usually write them myself as originals rather then rewrite plr content. You can put rewritten plr articles on your own websites as long as you have changed at least 50% of the content. If your aim is to get paid for articles I wouldn’t use plr material. I would focus on completely new articles that you have written.
How to use and rewrite plr articles
Article writing instructions are few and far between so here are a few tips on article writing when you want to rewrite plr articles.
Make sure the article actually makes sense as it stands. You really good quality plr content, poor plr articles will be nearly impossible to make something good out of it. It doesn’t have to be a work of art.
Rewrite the first and last articles completely. These also must include the keyword you are basing your article upon. For the middle part of the plr article you can just make minor changes to words and phrasing.
The last of my article writing instructions is to make sure your article leads the reader to take the action you need. If you are looking for a click on a link make sure it stays relevant
