Four Good Reasons to Use Viral E-books
It is a well known and widely accepted fact, that E-books, i.e.: FREE E-books, are one of the best weapons in a viral marketing campaign arsenal. There are four reasons that we should look at today, on why this is true and how it will be for many years to come.
1. Producing an E-book is not expensive nor does it take a lot of time. Whatever subject you are promoting, you will need to have several articles, perhaps you have a few that you have already written and all of them will need to be added to your E-book. If, on the other hand, writing isn’t your forte, you can use rebrandable E-books that have been produced by others. Just use your favorite search engine and do a web search for “rebrandable E-books”. There will be a lot of hits that will come up, so you should not have any problem finding what your looking for. One way to distribute these E-books to visitors on your website is to give them as a free gift for subscribing to your newsletter. If your E-book contains material that people will want to share with their friends and family, they will pass it along to them and they will continue passing it along to their friends and so forth, all of which will help you to make money.
2. E-books are a great way to reach a very large number of people. The only limiting factor is the enthusiasm of the participants. That is why it is critical that your E-books have things in them that are current and interesting, then people will want to share them with others. People like to be the first one to tell someone something interesting or funny. They will pass along something that makes them look like they are in-the-know.
3. E-books are a way to sell products other than the one you originally targeted. For instance, if you are selling jewelry then your targeted audience could also be interested in perfume, shoes or even handbags.
4. E-books can help you to substantially build up your reputation too. It is an implied recommendation if you give quality E-books and users willingly pass it on to others.
It was William Foster who once said, “Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives”.
